You probably have spent a lot of time together as a family, lately.
Talk about:
- What does it mean to be together?
- What does it mean to be alone?
- What are some of the ways it has been special, a blessing, to be together?
- How might it also have been a challenge?
- What are some ways we can practice patience and forgiveness? With each other? With ourselves?

Dear Jesus, we are gathered together in different ways these days—sheltering in place in our homes or meeting via video chats over our screens. Yet you are with us, for wherever (or however) two or three are gathered in your name, there you are in the midst of them. Help us to remember your presence among us and live in your ways—forgiving, loving and caring for each other day by day. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.

Here are some ways to put your faith in action. Share with
others, that with Christ, we are never alone.
|
|
Make a necklace for yourself and one (or more) to share.
Write a note to your friend reminding them that we
have new life in Christ. God promises we are
never alone but that "I am with you always."
OR
Remind others they also are never alone, even if no one
else is in their home. Download to print coloring page or
make and decorate a sign to hang in your
window that reads:
“I will be with you always.” |
