Behind the scenes
Each week we'll feature an unsung hero who just gets on with it. If you see this person around the place make sure you give them a pat on the back!

This week's unsung hero is Scott Willsmore. About the only thing he doesn't do on a week to week basis is actually play (wait till next year!). Whether it be ordering gear, coaching, arranging umpires, demolition, thinking (always thinking) or supporting his club he puts in a mammoth effort.

Well done Scott!

The Eagles Flyer: Volume #6, 2014
Hi Eagles

Great week on the park last week with the boys/men clean sweeping the Peckers and some of impressive wins on the ladies side too. Special mention to G Larwood who resumed his  career after 9 years in the wilderness and was the driving force behind a stirring win - well done Greg, a great example of the "Team Fist" motto the senior men have adopted.

Lightning Carnival this week for the juniors and then a couple of weeks of over the holidays - keep your eyes out for training and game details.

Club news
Planning is under way for the Bob Elliot Memorial Day on the 2nd of August. A full program of games is planned as well as a number of activities for the kids. Whilst we aren't able to host any of the girls teams this year we have already begun lobbying the Association to enable this to happen next year.

Please mark this very important date in your diary and make sure you get along to the Eagle Dome.

Final designs for our new uniforms are nearing the the approval stage and should be rolled out across all of teams toward the end of the season.

Eagles Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce that Ricoh Australia has come on board as a  sponsor of our club! Thanks very much to Chris Larwood for helping arrange this sponsorship.
Behind the scenes
Each week we'll feature an unsung hero who just gets on with it. If you see this person around the place make sure you give them a pat on the back!

This week's pat on the back goes to Steve "Strings" Horton. First at training and last to leave, Steve has done a huge job helping set up our shed, organising equipment etc and seems to spend most of his spare time fixing sticks, stringing up news sticks, having a catch and a throw with a new junior player and generally just chipping in.

Well done Steve!
