The Eagles Flyer: Volume #9, 2015
Its all happening!

Burger night, quiz night a few seats left)  and the legendary wine tour are all rapidly approaching so plenty of ways to get involved. On the field we have 3 teams currently sitting top of the ladder undefeated in the U11/U8 age group and we have four other junior teams solidly in the hunt for a finals berth.

At the other end of the club, our senior women almost pulled of the coup of the season only going down to the much fancied Peckers by 3 goals.A massive improvement experienced this year by the team and great signs for the future.

Our OS players were featured on the front page of the City North Messenger this week. Check out the following:

On a sad note, our thoughts are with Jordy Cox (Premier League Goalie) on the sudden passing of his mum Jenny.
We're all thinking of you and we'll be sure to get around you in this sad time.
Behind the scenes
Each week we'll feature an unsung hero(s) who just gets on with it. If you see this person around the place make sure you give them a pat on the back!

This week's unsung hero is Izzy Larwood who is responsible for maintaining our website as one of the best in the league - www.eagleslax.com.au.

Further thanks to the three Willsmore girls who single handedly set up Park 25 a few weeks ago.

Special mention also to John 'Slavo' Slaven who came out of retirement to help strap Twinny's shoulder on Saturday - once an Eagles always an Eagle.

Well done guys and if anyone else knows of any unsung heroes please pass on thier story and i'll be sure to give them a mention!
Did you know...
This year's quiz night will be the 17th in a row with the first one being held in 1998.
