The Eagles Flyer: Volume #10, 2014
Hi Eagles

Closing in on finals and I'm happy to say the Premier League Men's team is coming home with a wet sail and will finish a strong third at the end of the minor round. The U15 Girls are also in the hunt and need a strong finish to the season to secure 4th spot.

The business end of the season is also the social end of the season with the Quiz Night, Hot Dog night, Junior and Senior Presentation Night and an end of season junior parents' get together planned to finish things off nicely.

Plenty to choose from for everyone so get amongst it!

Club news
Some sad news this week - Former Eagle Steve Dunbar passed away this week. Steve played his first A Grade game in 1964, played many State games & retired in the mid 70’s. He was known as a hard but fair lacrosse player. Condolences to Steve's family.
Behind the scenes
Each week we'll feature an unsung hero who just gets on with it. If you see this person around the place make sure you give them a pat on the back!

This week's unsung hero is Deejay. Deej has been a stalwart of the social committee for many years, mastered the BBQ and invented the "Eagle Burger". This week alone he organised and delivered another sensational Eagles Wine Tour as well as did the prep for what is sure to be another fantastic Quiz night.

Feel free to buy him a thank you drink the next time you see him!

Well done Deej!
