The Eagles Flyer: Volume #6, 2015
A very successful Bob Elliot Memorial Day was held at the Club on the 30th of May. The senior men came away with a hard earned win and a good crowd stuck around for reading out of the scores and burgers.

Medals for the Best on Ground were presented by Mayor David O'Loughlin and Matt Elliot - congratulations to Braydon Simpson, Chris Larwood from the senior men as well as Katy Connery and Zoey Cook who tied for the Women's Div 1 medal. Thanks to Liam Scanlon and the Austral Hotel for the donation of a meal voucher to each of the winners.

This week we hold the first ever Ladies Day at our club. The girls usually play their games in at Park 25 but thanks to the co - operative spirit of Lacrosse SA and our opposition we're able to play at home. Please come along and support the girls during the day and stick around for a great value meal and good times at our club.

Lastly, congratulations to Andrew "Captain Snooze" Glazbrook who represented SA and the Eagles at the recent National Championships in Perth. A great example of commitment and dedication by Twinny and hopefully an encouragement to other eagles to get out there and have a go at representing your state.

Behind the scenes
Each week we'll feature an unsung hero who just gets on with it. If you see this person around the place make sure you give them a pat on the back!

This week's unsung heroes are Ollie, Chris and Pamela. These guys jumped in and staffed the canteen and bar all day from 11 am through till after dinner that night. Ably assisted by quite a few other Eagles during the day, these guys are a great example of getting in and rolling up your sleeves to help the club

Well done guys!
