Founded in Chicago in 2007, the ensemble’s mission has been to present new and historic works with ties to the Americas. Its goals are not only to present rarely heard gems but also to have their programs introduce the vast panorama of Latin American culture. As a Cayambis Music Press Artist, the Ondas Ensemble will be helping to develop a new repertoire of music for small ensembles by Latin American composers.
