SUPPORTING THE RIDGE TRAIL!
Bay Area Barns and Trails was proud to be a sponsor of Bay Area Ridge Trail's 2015 Ridge to Bridge event.

The 2015 Ridge to Bridge in the Marin Headlands was a great success, with over 30 horses and riders attending. Our founder, Barbara Weitz, would have been delighted to see so many equestrians! Special thanks to Lyndall Erb (BABT Vice President), for organizing the equestrian component, Karen Johnson (BABT Secretary) for equestrian ground support, and Morris Older (BABT Treasurer) for helping with the hiking component. We also thank Marin Horse Council for their volunteers and promoting the ride; and Miwok Stables for providing water for the horses.
BABT IS SEEKING ADVISORS AND DIRECTORS
BABT is seeking volunteer Advisors and Directors to represent the 9 counties and help be our eyes and ears. Some of the duties include attending meetings about equestrian issues on public lands in your county, and keeping BABT apprised on projects that have promise to improve, create or promote public access to barns and trails in your area.

If you would like to know more about becoming a BABT Advisor or Director, or if you know of a project or issue in your area that could use BABT advocacy, please contact
babtt@sonic.net or any of our Board members.
