As previously reported, LPRC is collaborating with CPB in their system wide assessment of public broadcasters’ technology needs.
By now, the Latino Stations’ General Managers should have received an email invitation to participate in the CPB System Technology Assessment. This assessment takes stock of public television and radio stations’ production and broadcast equipment, and their financial strategies to support future equipment.
The results will inform CPB’s decision-making, keep up with technological changes and develop future operating models. Therefore, LPRC urges your station to participate in the assessment. Let's make sure Latino voices are heard!
Why should you participate in the assessment?
- Help educate stakeholders about the state and needs of the Latino public media community.
- Understand your peer group—other Latino stations.
- Understand public media community’s current state
- anticipate future needs
- surmount challenges
- seize opportunities
For additional information about the assessment, you are welcome to contact the Eagle Hill project team at CPBTechSurvey@eaglehillconsulting.com and/or your Latino Desk.
Thanks in advance for your support in ensuring Latino Public Radio Stations are represented in the final results!
