Thomas King's Sufferance mixes humor with crucial conversations 

Jeremiah Camp is on a mission. He’s pulling up crosses in the graveyard at a former residential school, replacing them with rocks, and chiseling children’s names into the stone. Not everyone in the nearby town agrees with his actions. This does not faze him. Camp is the main character in Guelph writer Thomas King’s new novel Sufferance, and not much seems to faze him.....Read more

Guelph Author mixes memories, mysticism and research into an exciting pre-teen story!

I recently chatted with GAC member and Guelph author Aaron Blair about his upcoming book entitled “The Mystic of the Midway”,  published by Histria Books and due out this fall.  The story is targeted to eight- to twelve-year olds and is a fantasy/supernatural story that takes place at an amusement park called Crystal Beach – a real place that existed in Fort Erie, Ontario from 1888 to 1989.
