Make Them Feel Like All-Stars
All-stars come in all shapes and sizes.
It's called "involvement philanthropy," and the key is personal connection. “I think there has been a lack of emphasis in the nonprofit field on people actually experiencing the impact of programs,” Gabrielle Kurlander, CEO of the All-Stars Project told Inside Philanthropy. Kurlander has helped the organization grow from grassroots to boasting offices in six cities, and has raised more than $110 million.
