Bringing Mindfulness To Your Practice:  Why it matters to your patients and you.

It seems today that mindfulness is the new buzz word, but what does it have to do with medicine?  This talk will explore the role of mindfulness in medicine and wellness.  We will learn and discuss what role mindfulness can play in your work practice as well as your home practice.   This talk will be informational as well as experiential, so be ready to have some fun and do some work as a way to build upon your skills in mindful awareness.

To create an independent, interdisciplinary, integrative wellness council; which acts as a Maine collaborative, to support, promote and educate individuals, organizations and our community on the availability, benefits, and practices of holistic, evidence-based wellness, and self-care.

To advocate for integrative wellness practices within the community and empower ourselves, individuals, and local organizations in the education, promotion, and implementation of self-care and holistic health practices, since we all need support and guidance.
