Michael Attwater

£100 fine - A breach of Rule (D)28 of the Rules of Racing in that when SIDCOT SWALLET ran at Lingfield on 21 September 2021 he had not informed the Racing Calendar Office that the horse had been gelded before the deadline as required. The Chairman noted that notification had been given but not until after declarations.

Mick Appleby

£150 fine - A breach of Rule (D)28 of the Rules of Racing in that when EAGLE EYED FREDDIE ran at Newcastle on 1 October 2021 he had not informed the Racing Calendar Office that the horse had been gelded before the deadline as required.  It was noted that notification had been given but not until the day of the race.

Anthony Carroll

£750 fine - A breach of Rule (E)12 of the Rules of Racing in that on 8 August 2021 KENSINGTON AGENT (FR) ran in The Racing League on Sky Sports Racing Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes (Class 5) at Windsor, where it had been reported by the Veterinary Officer that the horse appeared to be suffering from ringworm.  The skin scrapings taken from KENSINGTON AGENT (FR) were reported by Rossdales Laboratories as being positive for ringworm.

Paul D Evans

£500 fine - A breach of Rule (D)28 of the Rules of Racing in that prior to BLACK HILL STORM (IRE) running in the Happy 60th Birthday Tony Ditchburn Nursery Handicap Stakes (Class 4) at Catterick on 18 September 2021 the Veterinary Officer inspected BLACK HILL STORM (IRE)’s passport in order to amend it from colt to a gelding.  Upon further examination the Veterinary Officer noted that the scaring was well healed which indicated that the operation took place sometime earlier.  At a Steward’s enquiry it was explained by his representative that the horse had been gelded as a yearling by the owner prior to going into training with Mr Evans on 3 March 2021.  However, Weatherbys had not been informed the horse was a gelding and no longer a colt until 12 September 2021.  The Chairman noted that BLACK HILL STORM (IRE) had run nine times since the operation and before Weatherbys were informed.
