Notice of a Referral (M. Harley) to be heard by the Disciplinary Panel on Thursday 29 July 2021

The independent Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority will convene on Thursday 29 July to hear the following:

12.30pm - Martin Harley

Martin Harley the rider of THIRD KINGDOM, placed fifth in the Collingwood Annual Learner Driver Insurance 'Beeswing' Handicap Stakes at Newcastle on 24 July 2021, had used his whip above the permitted level from 1½ furlongs out. As the offence warranted a suspension of between 2 and 6 days, and taking into account that this was the rider’s fifth such suspension within the previous 6 months, Harley was referred to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority
