Welcome to Spring @ St Conan's Kirk!

As we spring into action at St Conan's Kirk, we're looking forward to meeting as many of our Friends as possible over the coming months.  Here's an update on recent events, key dates for your diary, and some interesting snippets relating to the kirk and the people who built it.  I hope you enjoy this newsletter, and welcome any feedback you may have.

Help Find Helen

Despite extensive research, we've been unable to find a photograph of Helen Douglas Campbell (1847-1927), Walter's sister.  Helen played a key role in the building of the Kirk and deserves recognition.  Can you help?

Inspiring St Conan's

"The Ghost of Helen Addison"
This new crime novel by Charles McGarry is partially set in Loch Donn (a fictionalised Loch Awe), with St Conan's Kirk operating undercover as 'St Fillan's'.  Do you know of any other books set in or around the Kirk?
