PNND Update

Dear friends,

Join other parliamentarians, academics, government officials and representatives of international organisations in Prague, Czech Republic on December 1-2, 2016 to discuss next steps in implementing the vision of a nuclear-weapon-free world.

This will be the 6th Prague Agenda conference following up President Obama's historic Prague speech in April 2009.

The conference will take place just after the United States elections, and just three months before multilateral negotiations on an international agreement to prohibit nuclear weapons at the United Nations in New York.

The conference will include discussions on nuclear threat-reduction and disarmament in the current political climate, and on opportunities for progress, in particular with the new U.S. administration and congress.

Prague conference special event: ATOM Museum visit

Former Soviet nuclear weapon storage vault in Misov, Czech Republic. Now part of the ATOM Museum
On the final day of the conference, PNND and PragueVision Institute for Sustainable Security will host a special field trip to the ATOM Museum – a unique museum in a former Soviet military base close to Prague where nuclear weapons used to be stored.

Yours sincerely
