I'm back into the swing of things and thought I'd share with you what my brushes have produced so far this year!

I've started a new series of birds. Here are the first few:
(The Barbets are 260 x 360mm in size (just under A3); the Goldentailed Woodpecker painting is 540 x 180mm.)

More birds, but with different backgrounds:

"When Evening Falls"; Crested Guinea Fowl. 540 x 170mm

"If Seagulls Could Soar": 260 x 370mm

"By the Water's Edge" - Yellow Billed Storks preening. 535 x 180mm

Then, a few figure studies..... We often see Zulu women carrying things on their head when we drive around on the roads in our area. Zulu Women are very hard working, the backbone of their society, and normally just get on with the task at hand.
These four sketches are 165 x 265mm each, just under A4 size.
