Admission Open House

Sunday, January 25   |   1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Do you know someone with a child who may benefit from a Rocky Hill School education? Please invite them to our Admission Open House on January 25th!

An afternoon on Rocky Hill School’s 84-acre waterfront campus is all it takes to understand what makes our community so unique. Visitors to our Open House will be able to tour the beautiful grounds with current RHS students, meet with Head of School Peter Branch and our Lower, Middle, and Upper School Heads, interact with our knowledgeable and personable faculty and staff, and learn how our diverse student body is challenged academically and afforded opportunities not found at any other schools.

Click here to view the Open House event on our Facebook page and share it with your friends!

Winter Solstice Celebration

At the annual Winter Solstice Celebration, the entire Rocky Hill School community gathered to hear songs and music from young and old - preschoolers to faculty and staff. All eyes and ears were on Head of School Peter Branch as he read How the Grinch Stole Christmas to a packed Campbell Center.

The Rocky Hill Community collected gifts for 42 children in group homes run by Communities for People, an agency that specializes in working with at-risk youth. Rocky Hill School has been involved with Communities for People for over a decade.

Baby, it's c-c-c-cold outside!

Pick up one of our warm hats for winter! We'll have them available at the reception desk in Hopelands during morning drop-off and in the bookstore throughout the day.

RHS Interact Club

The newly formed Interact Club, which is a community service program for grades 7-12 sponsored by Rotary International, volunteered their time before the winter break to help at the East Greenwich Rotary Citrus Drive. The club is now working on a fundraising event and educational presentations related to clean water in third world countries. More than 80% of all sickness in the world is attributed to unsafe water and every 8 seconds a child dies because of this crisis.

RHS Alumni as Interns and Employees

Rocky Hill School works to maintain a strong relationship with students after they graduate. We will be reaching out to RHS alums who are current college students and recent college graduates to offer assistance with internship and job placement networking. If you or your company are looking for interns or new hires, please email Beth DeGerlia in the Development Office. As alumni respond, we would love to help them network with interested Rocky Hill alumni, parents, and friends.

We're sure this won't be the only picture of Wesley that we see soon, since his proud grandfather is
Loring "Terry" Coes. Terry, Rocky Hill School's longest-serving faculty member (41 years!), teaches Upper School mathematics and is the School's photographer.
