Watch for Art!

Students will be bringing home their wonderful artwork on Monday and Tuesday. Please ask your child about it so it does not get left behind in the Middle School. It is sure to fill your home with color and cheer!

#RHSforNepal Update

A note from Faythe Schulte '19
Hello Middle School Families and Students,

As you know, a few weeks ago there were very powerful earthquakes going on in Nepal, and the Rocky Hill community has been doing activities to help raise money for a school that was ruined in the quakes. A teacher at this school saw our peace flag pictures on social media and reached out to us for help. A picture of the school we are helping is below.

We have held dress down days to raise money to help rebuild the school. Continuing this week until the end of the year, we are holding a drive for gently-used or new school supplies. This is a perfect time to do this drive because it is almost locker clean-out time and most students have gently-used or forgotten school supplies at the bottom of their lockers. A collection box will be in place in Hale all week.

Thank you all VERY MUCH!

Faythe Schulte '19

Lower School

VIP Visitor to Lower School

Capt. Denis "Cheech" Beaulieu and his crew from the Canadian Forces CF18 Demo Team paid a surprise visit to Rocky Hill School last Friday, entertaining LS students (plus the sixth grade, who snuck in at the last minute!) with a video of a flight in their 1,300 mph fighter jet.
The team was in town to take part in the RI National Guard Open House Air Show at Quonset. After the visit, they flew over campus, waving the wings of the jet. It was a tough day to do anything outside, as the roar of the jets (including the USN's Blue Angels) overhead made every child want to run outside and look up into the cloudless, blue sky.

What a Day for Field Day!

Congratulations to our students on their field day competitions! They showed great effort, athleticism, sportsmanship, and Rocky Hill spirit! Also a very heartfelt thanks to parents, faculty, and the PTL for all of your help, cheering, and delicious Del's treats.
