Common Catalogue enhancements underway

HPV is working with several health services on the next phase of rolling out a Common Catalogue which will provide a single source of pricing and product information for Victoria’s public health sector. Read more.

Suppliers help improve health service data

HPV acknowledges the efforts of top performing suppliers who have been working hard to deliver high quality data in the National Product Catalogue (NPC), a key source of product information for Victorian health services and the new Common Catalogue. Read more.

Supply chain efficiencies deliver an additional 100 extra clinical hours a day 

Analysis to better understand how supply chain efficiencies could be created at Western Health's Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital has shown how improvements in this area will enable clinical staff to spend 103 extra working hours a day on their core role – patient care. Read more.

Recycling update

The closure of SKM Recycling’s parent company is having an impact across the state, affecting waste collection companies servicing the health sector. HPV is working with our recycling providers to ensure service delivery is not impacted and exploring options to enable recycling to resume as soon as possible. Read more.

First phase of Victoria's Social Procurement Framework nears completion for health sector

This month marks the end of the first phase of implementing Victoria’s Social Procurement Framework across Victoria’s public health services. Read more.

Supplier Code of Conduct to include modern slavery

The Victorian Government’s Supplier Code of Conduct now includes an explicit reference to the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and HPV expects suppliers that meet the threshold under this legislation to report on any modern slavery risk within their supply chains. Read more.
