More suppliers publishing high-quality data on the National Product Catalogue

This month it’s been great to see increased activity from suppliers publishing and updating their product and pricing information in the National Product Catalogue (NPC), which feeds vital data into the Victorian Product Catalogue system and the new Common Catalogue. Read more.

HPV has appointed a dedicated change manager, Owen Smith, to support health services in adopting the Common Catalogue, a key initiative for the Victorian public health sector. Read more.

Ballarat Health Service innovates to locate medical equipment

Ballarat Health Service (BHS) has teamed up with Coregas (a division of Westfarmers) and Telstra to trial a tracking system which saves hospital employees time by helping them quickly locate medical equipment such as wheelchairs and bariatric beds. Read more.

HPV welcomes one new Board member, and farewells another

HPV welcomes a new Board member, lawyer Jane Hider, who brings more than 20 years of experience in construction and projects, government advisory and procurement. Jane’s career has encompassed government advisory roles across a range of disciplines including procurement, supply chains and tendering. She has also assisted organisations in investigating tender processes and project delivery. Read more.
