A committee meeting was held at 4:30 pm on September 9 at Diane's and Bill's house. The report had been circulated.

Local Community Service - Sandy
Sandy shared that there had been a request for assistance of an individual community member and had directed the inquiry to the appropriate services. Sandy indicated that Inn Out of The Cold would be opening in November.
The following motion was referred to the club at an upcoming meeting:
Referred Motion Mover Scott Seconder Sandy
That the club pay for meals in lieu of meal preparation until the end of the calendar year at a maximum cost of $1200.
Approved- Referral of the motion to the club.
Club members that Ann, Helen and Al would need their support with Diane and Bill away until after Oct. 1.
Horton Street Market- Sandy
Scott will contribute a basket for next Horton Street Market, and Ann will make it.
Rotary Youth Exchange - Al G
Al gave the highlights of the report as circulated. The student selection and recommendation to the District process is underway.
Administration - Bill C
The report had been circulated. and there was discussion about Wildflowers.
There was also discussion about readiness for in person meetings. Theconsensus was that in person meetings might be combined with Zoom meetings although there are technical challenges and not ready for in person meetings inside yet.
The meeting at 5:00 pm on September 22 will be a joint meeting at the CASO Station with the St. Thomas Rotary Club. The topic will be Honouring Indigenous Peoples. Please confirm your attendance with Paul. Paul will also look into the possibilities of Zoom for the meeting. Proof of vaccination and photo identification are required.
