- Not for Profit Agency funded by the Ministry of the Attorney General
- 24/7/365 support to victims of crime and tragic circumstances
- referrals after hours are from Police, Fire, EMS
- walk ins accepted 
- support clients, domestic violence, sudden deaths, suicide, death notifications, break and enters, MVC
- We offer Victim Quick Response Program Plus (VQRP+) this assists clients if qualify for counselling, basic needs, food/groceries, hotels, funeral expenses (homicide victims)
- 3 full time staff, approx. 45 volunteers

- Anna & Sue update - dictionaries are finished, today was last day
- Judith our guest from the Netherlands, spoke about her stay with Ken and exchanged Club banners
- Wade sent out schedule for Poppies, schedule will be sent out for Eat 2 Learn packing. Both events are on November 2, 2019
- Wade - RBC Vital Youth Project (15-29) - Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation. They are holding a Vital Conversation, Youth Focused on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Looking for table mentors. Let Wade know if you can help out.

-Reminder that Sandy will be holding a meeting regarding Shamrock Shuffle on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 @7pm. Her address is 6 Montgomery Rd.
- December 11, 2019 from 5-7 at St. Thomas Art Gallery they are holding Civic Awards. President Scott asked if the Club would be interested in supporting the Inn Out of the Cold and attend. Sandy will look into space.

- our Club has $767 raised so far, deadline is end of November to reach the $1500 for Scott to match, make cheque out to Rotary International or Railway City Rotary

Upcoming Meeting Dates 
October 30, 2019 - Halloween Event
November 2, 2019 - "Vibrant Club Seminar" will be held (replaces Learning Assembly) 
November 6, 2019 - Nov. 6th- Speaker Sue and Diane “Ronald McDonald House” + Baking Activity at 7-  9 p.m.   We have room for 10 bakers to carpool into RMcH with us.  (must be 16 year and over).   Please let us know if you or your partner would like to join this fun event.  All baking gets frozen and served daily at RMH and in the Family Room in LHSC Sick Kids Floor.  It’s a fun way to help create a sense of normal for these families.   Please let Sue know if you can join us .
