We're just 8 days away from the first concert of our season, Musical Expeditions, and we are thrilled that you've ordered tickets!
The performance will feature music about places, journeys, and travels. With music ranging from Rimsky-Korsakov's famous Procession of the Nobles, to Oscar and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! to modern works like Robert W. Smith's Inferno (from the Divine Comedy), let the tcb transport you across the globe and by way of different modes, for an evening of music to kick off our third concert season.
The concert will be held at the beautiful and intimate Glenn Gould Studio in the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in the heart of the entertainment district. 250 Front Street West, at the corner of Front and John. The concert starts at 7:30pm sharp. The lobby opens at 6:30pm (beverages maybe purchased at the bar), and the auditorium opens at 7pm.
You may have noticed that this is our first concert after having switched to Eventbrite for our ticket processor. Instead of picking up physical tickets at a "Will call" table at the concert, you have received an email from Eventbrite with the subject "Your Tickets for Toronto Concert Band presents Musical Expeditions" - even if you ordered and paid through PayPal earlier in the year. In the Eventbrite email, you'll find a couple of links that look like this:
Click on Mobile Tickets to add your ticket to your mobile device, or open the attachment and print a paper copy of your ticket. We will be scanning tickets at the door.
If you run into any trouble locating your tickets, please don't hesitate to reply to this message. We're happy to help.
If you have subscribed for the season, tickets for the second and third concerts will be emailed to you in the future. You do not need to hang on to your tickets for Musical Expeditions to get into our Winter and Spring concerts. Please note that subscription tickets are general admission tickets.
We hope you enjoy the performance, and we look forward to playing for you next weekend!
