Dear Patrons,

The Toronto Concert Band is pleased to announce details of the 2019-2020 season, which features great music, a new venue, and collaboration with award-winning musicians.

Our first concert takes place on November 30th at Glenn Gould Studio, and features the music from Guys and Dolls, Christopher Tin’s Grammy Award-winning video game theme song Baba Yetu, two works by Percy Grainger, Standridge’s Wolverine Summer, BalmagesBreaking Point, the works of J. S. Bach, Samuel Hazo, Vince Gassi among several others.

Our second concert will be on March 7th. For this performance, we are very excited to bring the music of the TCB to the Regent Park community, and will perform in the beautiful and highly acclaimed cultural hub, the Daniels Spectrum.  Toronto Concert Band will perform in the Ada Slaight Hall. We look forward to meeting a new audience in this vibrant yet intimate space. Musical selections will be announced shortly.

We wrap up our sixth season with a special concert featuring guest ensemble, the Mike Field Quintet. Led by the critically-acclaimed musician with deep connections into the TCB's music community, Mike will bring some of his greatest hits, including Rush Mode, to the concert band medium for the first time in a unique joint performance between our ensembles. Join us at Glenn Gould Studio on Saturday, June 13th at 7:30pm.

Season subscriptions and individual tickets for these performances are available online now, and if quantities last, at the door. Please see below for details.
