AVF Newsletter - August 2015

Hello <<First Name>>,

Great news, we can add something new to the list of "first world problems": there's too much information on Vertical Farming and the newsletter is getting long. Yes, the Movement is growing exponentially and news is happening fast. But no worries, you have one month to get trough all the following topics:

Two Important upcoming Events

In September, two collaborative Agritecture design workshops are being held. One in Atlanta (September 18-19) and one in Minneapolis (September 24-25). Be quick to register, because spots are almost all taken. Free for AVF members!

A BIG thank you to our Fall 2015 workshops innovation sponsor and AVF member Illumitex

Illumitex has radically transformed traditional LED design with the creation of LED  lighting that emits a uniform, highly precise beam directly from the source.  With die-level optical integration, cumbersome and inefficient secondary optics to control light are unnecessary, opening the world to more versatile—and energy efficient—lighting applications than ever before imagined.
