An Invitation to
Ministry Personnel & Regional Representatives
Tele-Town Hall - Thursday, May 21

The Chinook Winds Office has received the following invitation from the Premier's Office for faith leaders in Alberta to attend a Tele-Town Hall meeting with Premier Jason Kenney and Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer on Thursday, May 21, 6:30 - 8 pm. The intent is that those who attend will then share the information with the Communities of Faith that they serve. Please see below to sign up by Thursday at 3 pm.

Also, thanks to Rev. Shannon Mang, Living Spirit United Church, who in her conversations with Dr. Hinshaw communicated a request from Executive Minister Treena Duncan for a further meeting for faith leaders.

Any questions, please email ChinookWinds@united-church.ca

As Premier of Alberta, I am committed to keeping you informed of the latest information regarding COVID-19, the ongoing work being done to protect Albertans, and our phased relaunch plan to gradually reopen the economy and get people back to work.

I know faith communities and houses of worship have many questions about how stage one of the relaunch will affect them and their ability to serve the community. That is why I would like to invite you as well as members of your organization to next week’s Telephone Town Hall taking place from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday May 21, where I will be joined by Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.

In the meantime, you can review specific guidelines released for places of worship at www.alberta.ca/assets/documents/covid-19-relaunch-guidance-places-of-worship.pdf

Please pre-register for the Telephone Town Hall by visiting and entering your name, organization, phone number and email in the link below. Please register by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday May 21, 2020.
