Three Sessions will be offered:
Tuesday, March 5. 10 am – 12 pm Olds United Church – bring a bag lunch or plan to go out with your colleagues following the session.
Tuesday, March 5. 3 pm – 5 pm High River United Church

Lethbridge (includes a light lunch).

BARE: A Pop Opera Comes to Living Spirit Church
By Rev. Shannon Mang
Bare: A Pop Opera is a coming-of-age musical that follows a group of teens as they wrestle with their identities, sexuality, religion, and even a little bit of Shakespeare, in a co-ed Catholic boarding school. The Opera will be presented at Living Spirit from February 15 through February 28. This musical presents an incredibly relevant story in
Alberta's cultural and political climate, with impactful themes such as peer and family rejection, acceptance, and what it means to be yourself.  This show is not only a powerful story that everyone can enjoy, but it is also an incredible platform for local emerging artists to tell relevant stories and practice their craft. The subject matter is raw, and the company suggests that it is suitable for teens and adults 15 years and older.

A Research Project by Rev. Tracy Robertson (minister at St. Thomas United Church) website: www.vilya.com/spirituality-of-fandom/survey
Hi! My name is Tracy and I would like to invite you to participate in my crazy project, The Spirituality of Fandom. Spirituality? What is spirituality? I’m sure it’s different for everyone. For me, spirituality is the feeling of being connected. Fandom is sharing that connection with others who feel the same way. Connections can be through nature, relationships, faith, sports, pop culture, tractor pulling, dog showing, quilting, etc. – you get the idea. Read MORE
