 An Invitation to Ministry Personnel
currently serving Communities of Faith
The Chinook Winds Office has received the following invitation for Ministry Personnel currently serving communities of faith to attend a Tele-Town Hall meeting with Premier Jason Kenney and Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer on Tuesday (tomorrow) at Noon.
     The intent is that Ministry Personnel will then share the information they learn with the Communities of Faith that they serve. Please see below on how to sign up by 10 am Tuesday morning. Executive Minister Treena Duncan and Presiding Officer Helen Reed will also attend the meeting.

The Government of Alberta is committed to keeping you informed of the latest information regarding COVID-19 and the ongoing work being done to protect Albertans.

As you know, this is a rapidly evolving situation and we continue to follow the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw.

I invite you to a Telephone Town Hall taking place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, where I along with Dr. Deena Hinshaw will provide an update and answer questions you have on issues facing faith based communities and Houses of Worship across the province.


Please pre-register for the Telephone Town Hall by visiting and entering your name, organization, email and phone number. Please register by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24.

You will receive a phone call just before the Telephone Town Hall begins.

Chinook Winds E-Newsletter

The Chinook Winds Newsletter is published every Wednesday. Deadline for submissions is the Monday prior.

Your event, news or announcement can be included in the Chinook Winds E-News.  For best promotion, it is advisable to submit material four weeks/one month in advance of your event's date or submission deadline. Events will be promoted for two newsletters and if you would like further promotion, please re-submit your item.
Please send the following information in the body of an email to Shelley Den Haan via (Please note new email address):
   • Your name and e-mail as the contact
   • Short title
   • 30-60 word description (Tip: Include a compelling reason why the reader should click to find out more.)
   • The URL or website where readers can visit for more information (If you do not
           have a URL or website, you can attach a pdf flyer or poster.)
   • Date
   • Location
Attach to the e-mail:
      • An image (JPG or PNG) that represents your event, campaign, etc. Your social media artwork is helpful
       (No image? That's fine. It will be placed in the "Other News" section.)
