BONUS BOOKS & VIDEO BAGS

The Metropolitan Library wants to bring entertainment and education to you and your family. Their newest program features bonus books and video bags.

Receive yours by calling the library and letting them know in one word a theme for the books and videos you would like included in your bag. They will pack a bag with five books or DVDs that your kids will love. All they need to know is whether to pack books or DVDs (or a mix of both) and the age group.

Visit metrolibrary.org to learn more about the Metropolitan Library System's programs and current operations.

NATIONAL BIKE MONTH

Every year, the League of American Bicyclists designates May as National Bike Month. This is a month to recognize and celebrate the benefits that bicycling has to community health and the environment, as well as its legitimacy as a mode of transportation.

There are several organized opportunities to get out and ride, while still complying with local and national health recommendations. ACOG is celebrating Bike Month with an area-wide Bicycle Scavenger Hunt.  This fun activity is an opportunity to get out and explore your community by bicycle!  A list of other local activities can be also be found on the Central Oklahoma Bike Month Activities Calendar.

Taking the 2020 Census is easy. You can take it online, on paper by mail, or on the phone. For more information, visit okc.gov/cesnus.
