THE SOCIAL CLUB
A NOTE FROM OWNERS

 D A N A  +  E R I C A

The Social Club was born from our belief that those around us are what lift us up and the connections we have with the people around us are what keep us going. We strive to create a place for people to come and find the things that make them who they are.
Whether that is the water bottle you can’t leave home without or the haircut that doesn’t just leave you looking beautiful but feeling beautiful as well. Our shop thrives on the fact that the items on our shelves aren't just things. They are gifts of time, intention, joy, happiness, organization, motivation, expressions of sorrow, celebration, and love. The salon strives for excellence in hospitality and service and is passionate about education. Our hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter, a little brighter, and having had a human connection that brings a little peace.

 S H O P
It's difficult to pick one place because there are so many options that all offer something very different. In our own neighborhood, we would hands down have to say Salt + Water and The Plant Shoppe. Perfect places to go when you need a classic gift when you're buying for someone that already has everything they need. They are both full of little gems that you might not know you need but won't want to leave without. Our other go-to downtown spots are ShopGood, Plenty Mercantile, and Common Dear. Who would have thought we would get to be neighbors with such beautiful, thoughtful small businesses to shop, support, and draw inspiration from!

 E A T
Our favorite place to eat downtown is Stitch. We are both creatures of habit so it's our go-to restaurant partly because of proximity to our business but also because the people who run it are rad humans who take their commitment to food, coffee, and its excellence very seriously. The tater tots have a salty-sweet seasoning on them and come with queso, their tarts melt in your mouth, everything on the menu is like a twist on something you would love as a kid but with a big kid (dare we say adult) twist on it and we mean that in the most loving sense.

 P L A Y
This one is so easy, we are smitten with Scissortail Park. We both have small children so we LOVE to go here. A scooter ride one day, the playground the next, a walk around the water, a dinner picnic in the park; there is so much to do and discover there. Us moms love the farmers market on a Saturday morning with a mimosa from Bozza Van and baked goods from Quincy Bake Shop while the kids trail behind us on their scooters and we pick out produce for the week!

 E M P O W E R I N G  W O M E N
On a daily basis, women walk through our doors to work, to shop, to be pampered or recharged. It is our hope that they do so because The Social Club is giving them a place to be who they are or who they aspire to be, giving them a place of support and understanding, giving them a place to be seen and ultimately empowered to be their true selves.
