SHAMROCK THE GARDENS
MARCH 17 | MYRIAD GARDENS

Sham-ROCK the Gardens, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Myriad Botanical Gardens, will take place this Thursday, March 17, and will be open to the public from 11am-2pm.

Visitors are invited to roam the gardens while listening to music by some of Oklahoma’s best Irish bands. Face painters will be onsite for the kids and Irish clubs will provide instructional dancing to those who are ready to get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. Families can enjoy craft time in the Children's Garden. To add to the holiday, the Myriad Gardens lake will be dyed green. ANNUAL ST. PATRICK'S DAY BLOCK PARTY

The annual and epic McNelie's St. Patrick's Day celebration is just around the corner! Join them for one of OKC's biggest St. Patrick's Day Block Parties on Thursday, March 17 starting at 11am.

The event will take place at their Midtown Public House with beer trucks, satellite bars, and live music from Irish Breakfast Club and Mike Hosty throughout the day. BRICKTOWN COUNTRY BASH
MARCH 17 | BRICKTOWN CANAL

The inaugural Bricktown St. Patrick’s Day Country Jam takes place Thursday, March 17 starting at 4 pm. The party will be in the parking lot adjacent to the Bricktown Canal at Reno and Oklahoma Avenues. Come enjoy an ice-cold beer, street food, as well as the great Bricktown restaurants and bars!

Admission is free and visitors can also get their first green beer for FREE between 5pm and 6pm. Live music starts at 5:30pm with Jack Rowdy, followed by Amarillo Junction and Cam Allen. This event is presented by Coors Light and produced by Brewer Entertainment.

CNU CONFERENCE
MARCH 23-26 | OKLAHOMA CITY

Next week downtown Oklahoma City will welcome the Congress for New Urbanism for their annual conference. CNU's mission is to champion walkable urbanism while providing resources, education, and technical assistance.

They aim to create socially just, economically robust, environmentally resilient, and people-centered places. Their educational conference will take place March 23-26 across downtown. The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition's annual Momentum exhibition features Oklahoma artists aged 30 and under, working in diverse media. The exhibition presents a diversified look at the young artistic talent in Oklahoma.
