Hi all, it's been a horrendous start to the new year with drought, fires out of control and so much devastation for communities, wildlife and our landscape. I will be donating a painting to an art auction 'Ashes to Action' on the 19th February.

The 'Ashes to Action' fundraising dinner on Wednesday 19 February will see 100% of all money raised donated to fire victims via the Red Cross and Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Stylist Megan Morton has kindly donated The Studio in Rosebery to host this event – The Cook and Waiter, along with Earth Walker Co and the Cook & Baker, will be cooking up dinner for 140 guests, with drinks by Logan Wines, Brick Lane Brewing and Four Pillars Gin and music provided by RUSSH Magazine. I am delighted to let you know I will be having a solo exhibition with a lovely little gallery in Paddington, Saint Cloche of which you are all cordially invited to. Details below.

This body of work is inspired by my expeditions into the Gibraltar Range National Park in far northern NSW, an area of massive granite boulders, grass trees and expansive wilderness areas, a special place that forms part of the Gwondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. This wild place has particular meaning to me as my childhood was spent living on the edge of it and many a weekend was spent on picnics and walking to hidden waterholes deep amongst the granite and gorges. I continue to visit this special place whenever I go home to visit my family.

It is with utmost sadness that the fires in December 2019 burnt out a huge proportion of the canopy in the National park to an extent that it will never be the same.
