WEIGH IN ON NEW BOULDER COUNTY PUBLIC SPACE
Boulder County Parks & Open Space is beginning the planning process for the East Boulder Creek Site. Located between Gunbarrel and Erie, the site is composed of five individual open space properties that contain a dozen ponds and five miles of perennial streams along Boulder Creek and Coal Creek. Let Boulder County know your priorities for conservation and community access by taking a short survey by February 28.

JOIN THE BOULDER MOUNTAIN BIKE PATROL
Do you mountain bike in Boulder County, love talking to people and want to give back to the community? The volunteer Boulder Mountain Bike Patrol is currently recruiting for 2023. Requirements include attending annual training on Saturday, March 4 in Boulder, logging at least 24 hours of patrol time per year, completing a brief interview and passing a background check. Applications are due Friday, January 27.

BRUTE SQUAD TACKLES AUDI SNOWMASS 50
The 2023 BMA Brute Squad MTB endurance training program celebrates its 10th season with a 16-week program designed to have its members at the peak of fitness for the Audi Snowmass 50 on Saturday, August 5. The race will showcase the best singletrack in Snowmass with a 25-mile loop ascending 5000’ feet. Solo competitors will have the option of 1 or 2 laps or teams of 2 can race 1 lap each. Registration for the race is now open, with early bird pricing through April 28.
