Whether you want to keep riding through the winter and are looking for fatbike resources or you plan on taking a mountain bike break, bike advocacy doesn't stop for snow. In this issue we have updates on the City of Boulder e-bike evaluation, plus ways to weigh in on Boulder County transportation projects, Broadway bike path safety and new trails in Steamboat.

GET READY FOR FATBIKING!

Don't spend this winter pedaling to nowhere in your garage. Boulder County has some of the best fatbiking in the state so get out there! BMA's Fatbiking page has guidelines and best practices for fatbiking etiquette, Front Range fatbiking trails, fatbiking gear, safety and events to join the fun.

KEEP THE BROADWAY BIKE PATH SAFE

If you live or work in Boulder, chances are you ride to your MTB ride on the Broadway bike path. Along with our friends at Community Cycles, we are gravely concerned about a project that would increase cars crossing the Broadway path just north of University. We need your help to get CU and City of Boulder to redesign this crossing to remain safe for bikes!

SUPPORT NEW TRAILS IN STEAMBOAT

Do you ride in Steamboat Springs? Want to see more trails open to bikes with better connectivity? Then let the USFS know via public comment before Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022!

The USFS just finished a 3-year study of the Mad Rabbit Trails Project and is proposing 52 new miles of trail.
