CalGIS 2019 - A silver anniversary in our Golden State 

Last week (April 8-10) saw the 25th annual gathering of California GIS professionals known as CalGIS in Fresno. A very diverse group of GIS practitioners and those we work with found lots of common ground in the heartland of our state - those who grow our food, manage our water resources, field data collectors, remote sensing scientists, educators, students, and those who analyze, visualize, and serve out the data all found in this unique community a rich ecosystem of ideas, sharing, and exciting new developments.
