A reminder that our annual meeting is happening at Old Soul (555 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814)  5:30 to 7:00 pm, on Friday, November 9th

Join us and learn about the coming changes to our chapter. At the recent GISPro-CalGIS 2018 event in Palm Springs we signed an agreement to migrate from one arrangement with the URISA International Board to the new OneURISA model. We’re very excited about the benefits and new representation and the direction OneURISA takes NorCal URISA in. Under OneURISA, all NorCal Chapter members will automatically become members of URISA International.

Also at the Annual Meeting we will recognize and congratulate the 2018 California Geographic information Association’s “Excellence in Education” Award recipient: Professor Hugh Howard of American River College. Students and alumni of the amazing GIS program at ARC are especially welcome to attend and celebrate this achievement.

All are welcome, even if you are not yet a member. invite a colleague; bring a friend. We'll have refreshments, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
