Webinar - Public Safety GIS is Reimagined
with Location Intelligence
Please join the NorCal Chapter of URISA for our next webinar series offering on December 1, 2020 at 12 noon.
This webinar will feature three guest speakers covering
- Police agency data collection for California AB 953: The Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) of 2015,
- Multi-agency collaboration through shared content for emergency management, and
- ArcGIS Mission, where tactical team awareness meets command and control.
Sergeant Steven Rego from the City of Berkeley Police Department will present on BPD’s efforts and initiatives for AB 953, as the city begins deployment ahead of schedule to California State RIPA data submission, along with providing police transparency to their community.
Darragh O’Keeffe from the County of Contra Costa will provide an overview of the county’s undertaking to establish a collaborative GIS community with surrounding agencies. This work has provided authoritative content to be shared with collective members during emergency events to cut down on content redundancies during these fluid situations.
The Esri ArcGIS Mission team will give an interactive presentation of the emerging need for an all-inclusive command and control software that streamlines operations, while providing teams with tactical situational awareness of an operating environment.
