Hameau Mission Statement

The Hameau Farm Studio Artist Retreat is a gathering place for artists to share, create, and learn in a positive, supportive environment. We pride ourselves in making each retreat instructional and fun for every artist in attendance; from the beginning oil painter to the professional pastelist, every artist of every medium and level can benefit from Hameau Artist Retreats.

Hameau Farm captures and inspires the creative spirit with its unique studio and second floor deck with views of pastures and mountain landscapes. Friendly animals and nearby creeks provide unlimited sources for plein air painting, and the great food and camaraderie compel artists to return year after year. This retreat includes plein air painting for all mediums and levels, daily demos in the Hameau Barn Studio, individual instruction, critiques, free art supply samples, and personal plans.

One of the best perks of attending a Hameau Artist Retreat is the access to tons of free art supply samples at the "Sponsors Table." Reserve Your Home Cooked Meals

Audrey Gay Rogers, the owner of Hameau Farm, and her helpers cook the wonderful, nutritious meals we eat during the Artist Retreat. Gay will take into account any dietary needs you request in her meal preparations. She prides herself in presenting beautiful meals in a beautiful setting. Her goal is to provide sustenance for all the hungry painters and make them happy!
