Will you help us bring life-saving medicines to Kenya? We have an opportunity to #MultiplyChange but need your support. There are massive gaps in who has access to treatments in Kenya.
We have a proven model to close those gaps, one piloted with the American Cancer Society and Harvard Global Equity Initiative, and the only one framing non-communicable diseases as the social justice issue of our time.
First, we petitioned the World Health Organization to declare 9 medicines for chronic diseases as “essential” — facilitating drug donations, reducing costs, and improving access. But the real work on the ground begins now.
This is where YP-CDN advocates like Mellany, Lorna, and Chris lead the momentum from policy to action, ensuring Kenyan patients get the essential treatments they deserve. These advocates are doctors, nurses, and program managers that will make sure these policies translate into tangible change: medicines in the hands of people who need them, now.
We have 2 days remaining in our #MultiplyChange campaign and we need your help -- we are getting closer to our goal, but still have a ways to go drive impact in Kenya.
Together, we can #MultiplyChange and inject some much needed grassroots energy into the non-communicable disease movement -- please show your support for affordable essential medicines for NCDs today!
Thank you for standing with us this holiday season,
