Please call the County Extension Office hosting to verify AND preregister for the course you plan to attend. Some locations have limits on attendance. In the event of bad weather, please also contact the County Extension Office hosting the course to determine any program changes. If you'd prefer to do your re-certification continuing instruction virtually, the ISU Pesticide Safety Education Program will be offering statewide virtual options on the following dates:
  • Feb. 28, 1-3:30 p.m.
  • April 5, 6-8:30 p.m.
Registration for the virtual re-certification continuing instruction courses is not open yet, but should be soon. When registration does open, you will find the link to register on the ISU Pesticide Safety Education Programs website. Additional dates may be added depending upon interest. Note that the fee for the virtual training is $35 (not the $20 like it is for in-person trainings).

Planter University registration is also open. These events will be held at 5 location around Iowa in early February. The focus of this event won't be about telling you what setting you should be running on your planter, but rather the theory behind planting equipment and new planting technology allowing you to evaluate and identify the right settings for you, your seed, your field and your equipment. Please note, registration for the February 11 Planter University near Nevada is full.
