February 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Webster County Extension Office, Fort Dodge
February 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Humboldt County Fairgrounds
February 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Lion's Community Bldg, Kamrar
March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Ag & Renewable Energy Center, Ellsworth Community College, Iowa Falls
March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Muse Norris Conference Center at NIACC, Mason City
March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Wright County Extension Office, Clarion
You must PRE-REGISTER by contacting the county where you plan to attend. Contact information for County Extension Offices and my pesticide meetings is found at this site.
Another option is to attend a live-streamed option of the private pesticide continuing instruction course. There will be 3 options:
February 28 at 1 p.m.
April 4 at 9 a.m.

Commercial Pesticide Applicator Class
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, in partnership with Iowa Central Community College is offering a commercial applicator course designed to prepare those who wish to seek employment as a commercial pesticide applicator. Northern Research Farm Annual Meeting will be held March 9th at the Red Shed in Clarion Iowa.The annual meeting will feature an update on farm activities by Matt Schnabel, farm superintendent, along with presentations from guest speakers Dennis Todey, director of the USDA-ARS Midwest Climate Hub, on the growing season outlook and climate implications; and Sotirios Archontoulis, professor of agronomy at Iowa State, speaking on soil nitrogen supply, crop N use and optimum N rates. The annual meeting will be held immediately upon conclusion of the speakers followed by lunch.
