New Year greetings to all members and friends of the Ballarat Tramway Museum. The Ballarat Horse Tram No. 1, will be operating next Sunday, January 22, on the northern end of our tramway. Services will start at about 11.00am and the last trip will leave about 3.30pm, from the Gardens Loop, near Piper's Restaurant and the Fernery.

This is the annual outing for the tram, which will turn 130 years old later this year. Don't miss a chance to ride on the tram, which is the oldest operating tram in Australia. Once again the big horses will be coming from Sandy Creek Clydesdales, and there will be some great opportunities for photographs.

Our new special function tram, Cuthberts 939, will be parked close by, and will be open for public inspection. If you have a special event this year, hop and board and see how we can help you celebrate in style.

Ticket prices for the Horse Tram will be $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children, and include a ride on one of vintage electric trams. Tickets available at our tent near Piper's, as well as a range of tramway related books, DVDs and souvenirs.

See you all on Sunday,
