+ We Are Bio-Cosmic Beings Learning to Live in a Living Universe
by Duane Elgin
Here are some excerpts from this recent article, published by Kosmosjournal.org

(Thanks to Carolyn Reinhart for recommending it!)    [Read full article]

"The most urgent challenge facing humanity is not climate change, or species extinction, or unsustainable population growth; rather, it is how we understand the Universe and our intimate relationship within it.

"As world-changing trends of enormous magnitude converge and amplify one another, the people of Earth will confront the unyielding reality that, unless we wake up and work together, we have only the legacy of a grievously wounded Earth and impoverished future to leave to our children and grandchildren.

"We are shifting from seeing ourselves as accidental creations wandering through a lifeless cosmos without meaning or purpose to seeing ourselves engaged in a sacred journey of discovery in a Universe with stunning depth and richness of purpose.

"Aliveness is the only true wealth." "If a top priority is growing our experience of aliveness, then it is only natural for us to choose ways of living that afford greater time and opportunity to develop the areas of our lives where we feel most alive."
