NATIONAL NIGHT OUT: Tuesday, August 7, 2018!
SCOTT BEAN
There are only a few weeks left before your free block permit which awaits you is no longer free! Give your neighbors an event to remember, with a simple block party, with a permit to block the street--an exclusive perk for being a block leader! Register your NNO event for August 7 by using this link!
Wondering what to add to the usual mix of potluck, BBQ, and street chalk for the kids? A visit by our K-9 or Mounted Patrol units, or a fire truck is a great diversion at any NNO event! Call 311 to request them or if you don't have web access, to register your National Night Out party.
1,300 blocks have already registered, and there's really no limit to the number of blocks that can sign up! Well, OK, maybe about 4,000 since that's roughly how many block segments there are in Minneapolis. We'd love for those on the other 2,700 to join us! Register before July 24 and your free street permit will be issued pronto!
MHNA CAN HELP YOU!
The Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association can reimburse you for plates, cups, napkins, and other supplies. If you want any help planning your event, the MHNA office is happy to lend a hand! Just send us an email.
