RIAL en Colombia
The Minister of Labor of El Salvador, Sandra Guevara Pérez, with the Minister of Labor of Colombia, Luis Eduardo Garzón. 
El Salvador and Colombia join forces on gender equity with RIAL-OAS support
A delegation led by the Minister of Labor of El Salvador, Sandra Guevara, travelled to Colombia from July 27th to the 31st to learn about the Ministry of Labor’s “Equipares” seal, which is supported by UNDP and certifies companies that are committed to gender equity. The objective of the activity, which was the first RIAL cooperation activity of 2015, is to support the implementation of a similar initiative in El Salvador. In honor of the visit, the Ministries signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Peru and Brazil will work together to eradicate Child Labor
As part of a common strategy, both countries will launch a new campaign on August 8th to inform the population on the problem of Child Labor and to promote its eradication.

The new declaration, which was signed at the XLVIII MERCOSUR Summit, builds on the 1994 Declaration and aims to “strengthen the perspective of consolidating employment and decent work as a regional integration process”.
