Next General Secretary and Assistant Secretary General of OAS elected

Luis Almagro and Nestor Mendez were elected as Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General respectively in March 18th at OAS headquarters in Washington D.C. The election of the new authorities was carried out during the XLIX Special General Assembly at OAS.

Funding remains available to finance the participation of the Member States of OAS for the next meetings of IACML

The Colombian government has arranged resources to support the participation of its peers in the region in the next meeting of Working Groups of the IACML and First Preparatory of the XIX IACML, to be held from April 28th to 30th in Cartagena. We invite the Ministries of Labor that require funding for travel expenses to send us their request as soon as possible
