Women's International Strike: Reflections from the CIM-OAS
On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2018, women from around the world called for a strike in response to the violence, inequality, and discrimination that they experience every day across the globe. The common theme of the march was: “if our lives are worth nothing, produce without us.” This points to the need to promote changes that will help achieve true equality between women and men.

The Fourth Global Forum Business for Gender Equality concludes
The event inaugurated on February 27 by the President of the Republic of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, United Nations officials and other global leaders, brought together more than 500 attendees, business leaders, government representatives, trade unions and multilateral organizations from from 38 countries, who committed themselves to the "Call to Action of Chile."

Saint Lucia and Mexico will undertake joint actions in key areas
The governments of Saint Lucia and Mexico discussed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of agriculture, tourism, security, climate change and artisanal training, as a result of a visit to Saint Lucia by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, Luis Videgaray Caso.
