Welcome to MAGICapp

A new update of MAGICapp is here.

In this update we have focused on a few long-requested features, as well as fixing some smaller issues requested by authors along the way.

Below are more details about the new features. As always, we'd love to get feedback from you and hear what you think so that we can further improve MAGICapp both for authors and end-users.

Best regards,
MAGIC team

New Features

In-text Citations

Now you can insert a reference as a citation in text, anywhere where a text editor is provided. You can then click each citation to show its full details, including all relevant links. The reference number is updated when you add, delete or rearrange your references.

Consultation Decision Aids

Your summary of finding tables are used to automatically produce decision aids, designed to enhance conversations between patients and clinicians. Evidence is organized in interactive layers, including graphical presentations and formats to discuss practical issues, The Decision Aids are available in their own tab under the recommendations.

This feature is being developed through the SHARE-IT research project.

Improved Word export of summary of findings tables and recommendations

Word documents are often needed when authoring guidelines and working with panels. We have thus created a new word export of single summary of findings tables and recommendations.

Cleaner layout of reference list and recommendations

We have updated the layout of the reference list and the recommendations to make it cleaner and easier to read. This includes a clickable "view more" link on recommendations and a new visualization of against-recommendations.
