Constellium and Novelis are launching Alumobility, a non-profit organization focused on providing innovative implementation-ready solutions to advance the adoption of aluminum automotive body sheet. Through collaborative technical projects and thought leadership, as well as working in partnership with global automotive manufacturers, Alumobility will help further develop smarter, lighter, safer, and more sustainable vehicles. 

Audi Receives ASI Chain of Custody Standard

Audi is the first car manufacturer to successfully achieve the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Chain of Custody Standard for its rolled material press shop operations at its production facilities in Neckarsulm and Ingolstadt, Germany. 
EGA Harnesses the Power of the Sun to Produce Aluminum

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) have achieved a sustainability milestone in enabling the production of aluminum using solar power — making the United Arab Emirates (UAE) the first country in the world to do so.
Industrial Pilot for New Recycling Technology

Hydro is working with Nuvosil, a circular economy start-up based in Norway, to launch an industrial pilot project on new technologies for the recycling of aluminum and silicon. The aim of the project is to significantly reduce energy consumption and processing costs.

Nissan Uses Closed-Loop Recycling System for the 2021 Rogue

SAT and ALIT to Commercialize Technologies for Coating Lines

Surface Aluminium Technologies (SAT) S.R.L. and ALIT Technologies SRL, both based in Italy, signed a commercial agreement, which will enable SAT to exclusively sell ALIT’s paint stripping machines for vertical coating lines.
