Hydro Extrusion North America completed an expansion of its Cressona, PA, operation, with the installation of a new 45 MN, 10 inch direct extrusion press. Elysis Completes Construction
of Industrial R&D Center in Canada

Elysis, the joint venture between Alcoa and Rio Tinto, completed the construction of its Industrial Research and Development Center in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Québec, Canada. This represents a new milestone in the company's work to develop a new low-carbon primary aluminum production process.

Envases to Open Al Can Manufacturing Center in Texas

Envases Group plans to open an aluminum beverage can production and distribution center in Waco, Texas. The completed facility will be located in Texas Central Park and will have more than 450,000 sq ft of production and distribution space. 
 
Tower Extrusions Purchases New Die Cooling System

Tower Extrusions Ltd., an aluminum extruder based in Texas, signed a contract with Atie Uno Informatica Srl in Italy for the supply of a new N5 liquid nitrogen die cooling system. The new N5 control system will be implemented on the extruder's 4,400 ton,
12 inch extrusion press line.
